          Frank is noted as Colorado's best downhill racer from 1934-1940.  He was a consistent winner of the slalom and downhill, winning Estes Park's 1936 slalom race, the slalom championship at Berthoud Pass, and the downhill at Sun Valley in 1939.

          From 1939-1942, he was President of the Southern Rocky Mountain Ski Association.  During his presidency he directed his efforts towards the development of winter sports clubs.

          During part of 1946 and 1947, he was General Manager of the Aspen Ski Corporation.
